Seven Network has put its Mount Coot-tha broadcasting site up for sale, just over a month after rival station Nine did the same. Seven acquired the Sir Samuel Griffith Drive facility in 1959 and continues to broadcast its flagship news program from there. The decision is part of an ongoing re-evaluation by Southern Cross Media, formed earlier this year through a merger between Southern Cross Austereo and Seven West Media, aimed at positioning the company for sustainable growth. The property spans 3.85 hectares and includes extensive infrastructure such as offices, television studios, broadcast towers, and a helipad. Commercial real estate agency Savills is handling the listing.
