Reform leader Nigel Farage told the BBC he "deplored" anyone wearing masks or balaclavas at public demonstrations.

Chris Vinson, leader of the Conservative group on Dover District Council, said several hundred masked men had "loaded into rental vans and then descended on roads leading in and out of Dover."
