The Houthis, backed by Iran, claimed new attacks on the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital, as well as oil pumping stations. The Saudi-led coalition reported intercepting a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh shortly after flights resumed at the airport following an attack earlier this month that killed 13 people and wounded over 300, making it the deadliest incident in the kingdom in more than a decade. The coalition also stated they destroyed two missile launchers in Sanaa, the Houthi-held capital of Yemen, but there was no immediate confirmation from Saudi authorities regarding the claimed attacks on oil infrastructure. As tensions escalate, officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are scheduled to meet with Iranian counterparts in Tehran to discuss regional coordination and potential de-escalation measures.
