Mikel Arteta has called up Curtis Scanlon, an Arsenal player signed from Manchester United this summer, for training ahead of Arsenal's upcoming Carabao Cup clash against Ipswich Town at Portman Road. With the team set to play their fourth game in nine days and third away fixture in succession across all competitions, Arteta is expected to rotate his squad. Scanlon, who has been capped 24 times by Gibraltar at senior international level, was seen training with Arsenal's U21s along with other young talents such as Max Dowman Jaden Dixon, Marli Salmon, and Harriman-Annous. The 18-year-old has already made two appearances for the Arsenal U21 team, scoring in both games against Chelsea and Brighton. Scanlon expressed his excitement about playing for Arsenal and hopes to excite fans with his performances.
