A franchise in Edmund, Oklahoma, was recently spotted with a sign out front advertising the T-Rex burger challenge, which awards participants who finish the towering nine-patty cheeseburger with all the fixings in nine minutes with a T-shirt and a special prize, Allrecipes reported.

Lauren Manaker, a dietitian in South Carolina, told Fox News Digital that indulging in "a novelty burger like this is less about everyday nutrition and more about the experience."
"One very large, highly processed meal can pack a lot of sodium, saturated fat and calories into a short sitting, which may leave some people feeling uncomfortable afterward, especially if they eat it quickly," she said.
