Ryan Coleman-Williams, a key Alabama wide receiver, left Saturday night's game against Georgia after an apparent leg injury in the second quarter. During a play from Georgia’s 16-yard line, Coleman-Williams could not put any pressure on his left leg and was helped off the field by Alabama’s training staff. Coleman-Williams had gained 409 yards and scored four touchdowns this season prior to the incident.
Surprisingly, Coleman-Williams returned to the game after halftime. He spent time on an exercise bike during the break and rejoined the Crimson Tide for their first snap in the third quarter. Before leaving, he had two catches for 33 yards against Georgia. Alabama led at halftime with a score of 14-10, marking the first time this season that Georgia has trailed after the first half.
