The Lotto Max jackpot has reached a historic $85 million, making it the largest prize in Canadian lottery history. This follows no winner matching all seven numbers on Friday night’s draw, pushing the prize up from $80 million. The draw will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 13, with additional prizes of 16 Maxmillion tickets worth $1 million each and 85 Maxplus tickets worth $100,000 each, totaling more than $109 million in total prize money. The last major win was in December 2024 when a player from Hamiota, Man., shared the jackpot with a Quebec-based winner. Lotto Spot street teams plan to engage players across the prairies by asking them what they would do with the massive winnings.
