Winger Daniel Tupou has retired from the NRL just days after helping the Sydney Roosters win their fourth premiership in the league's grand final against the Newcastle Knights on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. Tupou's career included victories in 2013, 2018, and 2019, making him one of the most successful players in Roosters history. He also played 10 State of Origin games for New South Wales. The team’s coach, Trent Robinson, praised Tupou as "one of the greats" during his final season.
