The Aporia
On Tuesday in Stockholm, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced the Nobel Prize in physics, continuing a tradition that saw three scientists awarded last year's prize for their work on quantum tunneling, which improved MRI technology and advanced electronics. The week began with the Nobel Prize in medicine being awarded to researchers who developed a tool using light to study brain functions more effectively. Following Tuesday’s physics announcement, the chemistry prize was revealed on Wednesday, followed by literature on Thursday. The peace prize will be announced on Friday, culminating in the economics prize on October 12th. Each laureate receives 12 million Swedish kronor, equivalent to about $1.2 million.
