A Victorian Italianate home in East Melbourne sold for $1,455,000 to two interstate buyers who fell in love with its original iron lacework and superior detailing after the property passed in at an opening bid of $1.4 million. The buyers were among three interested parties, with one unable to bid due to financial issues and another uncertain. The sale occurred as part of the spring selling market, which saw 646 properties scheduled for auction across Melbourne this week. The lead agent for the sold property advised active buyers to enter the market now to avoid waiting until prices increase by another 5% in six months.

Why this leaning score
This article does not take a side on a contested political
question, so it has no leaning score. That is an
answer rather than a gap: a match report or a rescue can be warmly
or critically written without being left or right, and scoring it
anyway is how approval of a subject gets recorded as a political
position.
