On November 2, 2026, a 60-year-old One Nation volunteer was allegedly attacked outside his home in Torquay, Victoria. The incident occurred after the volunteer confronted a 14-year-old boy who was reportedly damaging campaign signs (corflutes) on the property. A 37-year-old man then joined and allegedly assaulted the volunteer with what police initially described as a baseball bat, though they later clarified it might have been another blunt object. The victim sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized in Geelong Hospital. Police arrested both suspects: the 14-year-old received a caution while the adult was charged with assault offences. One Nation leader Warren Pickering condemned the attack as "un-Australian," raising concerns about political violence amid upcoming elections.
