On November 1, 2026, a Learjet 60 crashed in Greenacres, Palm Beach County, Florida, approximately nine miles from Mar-a-Lago and eight miles from Miami, resulting in the deaths of all nine people on board. The plane departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was bound for North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas. It clipped a tree before crashing into a residential area, causing an explosion visible as a massive fireball to bystanders. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
