Alexandros Paporakis of Palatine was arrested on October 11 following an investigation into an alleged mass shooting plot.
Detectives searched Paporakis’s home and recovered a rifle, multiple loaded rifle magazines and hundreds of additional rounds of rifle ammunition.
A judge ruled that Paporakis will remain in jail, with the next court appearance scheduled for Oct. 30.
Paporakis openly identified as a white supremacist at work and told them he couldn’t wait to kill Indian people, according to prosecutors from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
