What happened

“As alleged in the Indictment, the defendant repeatedly and relentlessly targeted the victim, her husband and her family with deeply disturbing communications that profoundly disrupted their lives,” U.S. Attorney Leah Foley said.
The indictment only refers to the victim as a 'former political advisor and prominent member of the Republican Party' who is married to a 'high-level federal government employee,' but sources familiar with the investigation have said it is Katie Miller, whose husband is White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller
The Justice Department said that Proia also contacted Katie Miller's mother and left a number of disturbing text messages, including one that greeted her by name, referred to Stephen Miller as "evil" and used an obscenity.
'Thank you Todd Blanche, Leah Foley and the Washington Field Office,' Katie Miller wrote on X while sharing a post about the case from Attorney General Todd Blanche.
