A police officer has appeared in court to deny causing death by dangerous driving after a teenage boy died when his e-bike was involved in a collision.
Ryley Hutson was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident in Bramcote, Nottingham, in September last year.
Daniel Cartwright, a constable with Bedfordshire Police, was charged in July in connection with the 16-year-old's death.
Cartwright, 31, made an appearance at Nottingham Crown Court this morning where he spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty plea during the ten-minute hearing, which heard he was driving a Vauxhall Astra at the time."
