"Mr Karoblis acknowledged that the number of cases had declined from the peak witnessed several years ago and referred to the release on bail of more than 100 people in Islamabad who had been arrested in cases linked to so called ‘blasphemy gangs’.
“But there are still issues and concerns for us,” he said, noting that hundreds of people remained imprisoned in Punjab."
