"In between renditions of smash hits including Livin’ On A Prayer, Always, It’s My Life, You Give Love A Bad Name, Wanted Dead Or Alive and Bed Of Roses, he told the crowd: “It’s a beautiful summer night and I can’t think of a better place to have church than in Wembley stadium.”
He added: “We had a hope and a dream that we would be back in this stadium.”
The musician, 64, continued: “We played three nights here in 1995 and came back many times and those were some of the favourite times of my life."
