Emmys 2026 winners list: Widow's Bay, The Pitt take top honours
Apple TV's comedy-horror series Widow's Bay took home 14 Emmys in total
The Noah Wyle-led gritty, medical drama The Pitt swept up the top prizes at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night, including best drama series and best lead actor for Wyle.

The HBO show entered the night riding high, topping the nominations with 25 nods.

But it was Apple TV's comedy-horror series, Widow's Bay that dominated, snagging the brass ring of the night: best comedy series, along with several other awards, including best lead actor in a comedy series, best supporting actor and actress in a comedy series and outstanding writing and directing in a comedy series.

After Monday night it won a total of 14 Emmys out of its 19 nominations.
