Former Arsenal transfer chief Edu has joined Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia's board after leaving his position at Nottingham Forest. Though not yet officially assigned a role beyond directorship, Edu is expected to be involved in recruitment and improving the club’s data analysis and academy development. He expressed enthusiasm about helping the club progress further despite their current success, including participation in the Europa League where they will play Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday.

Why this leaning score
This article does not take a side on a contested political
question, so it has no leaning score. That is an
answer rather than a gap: a match report or a rescue can be warmly
or critically written without being left or right, and scoring it
anyway is how approval of a subject gets recorded as a political
position.
