Police visited the set of Married at First Sight in Western Australia after a complaint was made regarding alleged inappropriate sharing of personal content during filming for the show’s upcoming season. This comes months after former contestants had raised concerns over inappropriate behavior on the program. Nine, the broadcaster, confirmed the police investigation but referred all inquiries to EndemolShine Australia, which produces the show. NSW Police attended a Zetland apartment building in Sydney on August 24 to investigate following a report of private information being shared without consent between producers and contestants. According to TV Blackbox, a male contestant filed the complaint after his personal data was allegedly accessed and disclosed improperly by producers to his on-screen partner.
