Angine de Poitrine, a self-proclaimed extraterrestrial duo from Quebec known for their polka-dotted appearance, has announced a world tour starting in March 2027. The tour will begin on March 4 in Melbourne, Australia, and include stops across South America, North America, and Europe before concluding in their hometown of Saguenay, Quebec, in September. In Canada alone, there are eight scheduled dates including performances in Calgary, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and a show at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre, which will be their largest headlining event in the city to date. The band recently won both the $30,000 Polaris Music Prize and the $10,000 SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for their second album "Vol. II" and the track "Fabienk," respectively, making them the first act to claim both prizes at a single ceremony.
