Céline Dion, the iconic Canadian singer, made an emotional return to the stage on Saturday night in Paris, ending a six-year hiatus due to her battle with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. Thousands of fans gathered outside the Royal Monceau hotel near the Arc de Triomphe and filled up Europe's largest indoor venue, Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, for Dion's comeback concert. The arena was expected to host around 30,000 fans for her 26-show residency. During the show, which lasted more than two hours, Dion performed 26 songs from across her discography, including hits like "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now." She began the night with tears in her eyes while singing "On Ne Change Pas" and thanked the crowd for their support.
