Former Jets offensive lineman Damien Woody shared a health update on Instagram in which he revealed that he was hospitalized after having his appendix and part of his colon removed following a colonoscopy at Morristown Medical Center. Woody left ESPN two months ago when the network did not renew his contract, ending his 15-year tenure as an NFL analyst. He now hosts "The OG Football Show" on YouTube with fellow former ESPN personalities Trey Wingo, Mark Schlereth, and Merril Hoge. Woody thanked the medical staff at Morristown Medical Center for their care and emphasized the importance of regular health checkups in his post.
