On Sunday morning, Phoenix police were called to the headquarters of Turning Point USA after a memorial statue honoring slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk was vandalized with red paint. The 8-foot-tall statue, unveiled just days prior on Thursday to mark the one-year anniversary of Kirk's death, was found defaced overnight along with a nearby memorial sign. Tyler Bowyer, chief operating officer of Turning Point Action, confirmed the vandalism via X and said police are investigating for clues and potential witnesses. Erika Kirk responded to the incident by emphasizing her husband’s legacy would grow stronger despite such acts, while Turning Point USA pledged to restore the statue but also vowed to hold perpetrators accountable.

His supporters, meanwhile, regarded him as a prominent advocate for conservative values and open political debate.
