As of October 17, 2026, Graham Platner's Senate campaign in Maine has spent approximately $2.3 million since he dropped out on July 8. The Federal Election Commission report revealed that while the campaign paid severance to his wife, Amy Gertner, for $20,246 nine days after Platner's exit, it made no contributions to Troy Jackson, who replaced him as the Democratic candidate, or to the Maine Democratic Party. Additionally, the report showed that the campaign continued to pay its consultants and staff despite Platner leaving the race.
