Daryl Davis, an African American musician and social activist, has been engaging with Ku Klux Klan (KKK) members for over four decades. By befriending them individually, Davis has successfully persuaded more than 200 KKK members to leave the organization. This unusual approach began when Davis crossed paths with a KKK member at an event featuring philosopher Cornel West, and he continued his work by interviewing and building personal relationships with Klansmen across the United States. Through these interactions, Davis aims to challenge racial prejudices through dialogue rather than confrontation.
