A 37-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after being attacked by two dogs while cycling through Seventh Brigade Park on Kittyhawk Drive in Chermside, Brisbane at around 6.15 pm on Friday. He was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with serious arm injuries. One dog, believed to be a pit bull-type breed, was captured shortly after the attack, but another remained loose until it was found in Wavell Heights early Saturday morning by police assistance including a helicopter team from Polair. The dogs are now in the custody of Brisbane City Council, and their future will be decided soon. Authorities warned locals to keep children close during this time as searches for the dogs continued, with Chermside parkrun organizers temporarily cancelling dog participation due to the incident.
