Hong Kong police have received over 100 reports from credit card users about unauthorized charges related to pre-orders for Apple's latest iPhone Duo model, which began online on Friday at 8pm. Complaints about these suspicious transactions started appearing on social media shortly after the pre-order window opened. Some consumers reported duplicate or unauthorised purchases of the new device, mirroring issues that occurred with the launch of the iPhone Pro 18 last month. The total amount involved in these unauthorized charges is estimated to be a few million Hong Kong dollars and continues to increase.
