Columbia University has suspended women's basketball coach Megan Griffith for three games this season following an outside firm's investigation into complaints about her behavior during past practices. The suspension will begin on November 2 with a game against Davidson, and she will also miss tournament games against Rhode Island and Belmont in Nashville. Although the university did not detail the specific allegations, it was reported that Griffith "expressed regret for occasions in which her interactions with the team did not align with expectations." Griffith acknowledged taking responsibility for her conduct and emphasized her commitment to the players' well-being. The suspension affects only Griffith's presence on the sidelines during these games; no other details of the investigation were released.
