Jalen Hurts, quarterback for the Eagles, will miss at least one game due to a blood clot in his calf that was discovered after an October 4 matchup against the Rams. The team announced on Thursday that a follow-up ultrasound on Wednesday night revealed movement in the small blood clot, confirming its existence. Before the announcement, Hurts had been vague about the nature of his injury, describing it as “very unique.” The Eagles are currently 2-3 and have lost three consecutive games, including a recent heartbreaking 19-17 loss to the Jaguars in London on Sunday when the Jaguars scored a last-second field goal.
