Reform UK has faced a major scandal after councillors and election candidates were filmed making racist, misogynistic, and violent remarks in an ITV undercover investigation. Three councillors have already resigned following the first revelations on Wednesday, and party leader Nigel Farage has postponed a planned announcement to address the fallout expected from further disclosures scheduled for October 18. The footage includes Reform councillor Alan Feeney calling Asian homeowners "parasites" and another councillor discussing burying pork chops as a way to stop mosque construction. Other clips show deeply misogynistic comments and threats of violence, including one Bromley councillor advocating for King Charles's death. Police are also investigating Reform for potential breaches of laws governing political party donations and electoral funding rules.
Other covertly filmed footage included one candidate in those elections discussing burying pork chops in the ground as a possible way to stop a new mosque being built.
