Alaric Jackson, a starting left tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, is expected to be suspended for two games following a post-game altercation with Bradley Chubb of the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium. The incident occurred after Monday night’s game on October 9th, where the Bills won against the Rams with a score of 37-34. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL has yet to officially notify the team or the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) about the suspension, though Jackson will have the option to appeal any decision made.
During the fracas, which unfolded just after Jackson swapped jerseys with a Bills teammate, he reportedly punched Chubb near midfield. Chubb attempted to retaliate but was restrained by other players from both teams, including injured Rams player Myles Garrett. If the suspension is upheld, Jackson would miss upcoming games against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders before returning for a home game against the San Diego Chargers on November 1st.
