At Alcide De Gasperi school in Strasatti, fixtures were torn off, windows shattered, cabinets overturned, leaving classrooms littered with debris. Emergency services deployed five crews to the area, treating two people for injuries. The tornado damaged homes and a school's campus, which one headteacher described as destroyed. Reports indicate that nine people, including four children, initially received minor treatment at Marsala hospital, while later accounts put the total number of treated individuals at 11, with two taken to Mazara del Vallo hospital.
