An Amazon cargo plane operated by 21 Air crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday after it overran the runway while landing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. At least five people were killed, including both pilots who were trapped in the cockpit, and five others were injured. Three of those injured are in critical condition, and two have less severe injuries. The plane, a Boeing 767-300, struck multiple vehicles near the airport before bursting into flames, sending thick black smoke into the air. The crash brought operations at one of the busiest airports in the US to a halt for several hours. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, along with the National Transportation Safety Board. Amazon has said it is cooperating with authorities to understand what happened.
