Story summary

Nick Dal Santo stepped down as the head coach of the St Kilda Saints' AFLW team after an 0-8 losing season in 2026. The decision came following a particularly demoralizing loss to the Bulldogs, where the Saints scored only one point, tying for the lowest score ever recorded in AFLW history. St Kilda confirmed on Friday that Dal Santo would end his six-year tenure with the team during their upcoming match against Collingwood. Following Dal Santo's departure, the club announced plans to conduct an independent review of its AFLW program.
