The Aporia
Three years after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, Gaza remains devastated by Israeli military operations. Despite a ceasefire announced in October 2025, much of the region still lies in ruins, with homes, hospitals, schools, and entire neighborhoods destroyed or severely damaged. Over two million Palestinians remain displaced, many living in tents amidst widespread destruction. The conflict has led to over 74,245 Palestinian deaths according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, despite the ceasefire purportedly bringing an end to major hostilities. The war's impact extends beyond physical destruction; it has collapsed education, healthcare, and the economy, making access to basic necessities like food and water a daily struggle for many Gazans.
Hamas terrorists killed more than 1,200 Israelis, including dozens of Americans, and took 250 people hostage.
