Michael Flatley, the choreographer best known for creating Riverdance, announced on Monday that his wife, Niamh O'Brien, had died at age 52 after a period of illness. They were married for 20 years and had one son together, Michael St James, born in 2007. Niamh was also a renowned Irish dancer who performed lead roles in Flatley's shows like Lord of the Dance and Feet Of Flames. She died peacefully at the Beacon Hospital in Dublin. The couple had met while performing in one of Flatley’s shows, and their relationship quickly blossomed into marriage. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Flatley expressed his grief, describing Niamh as "the most loving mother, wife, and person." Her death has left both their families devastated, and they have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
