The Aporia
On Monday morning, a school bus carrying 39 passengers, including 37 high school students from Winter Haven High School in Polk County, Florida, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash around 6:15 a.m. The incident occurred when a white Chevy Malibu traveling in the opposite direction crossed the center line and struck the rear of the bus, causing it to collide head-on with a silver Jeep. Two people died in the crash: a 10th-grade girl on the school bus and another individual inside the Jeep. Emergency services received 5 to 7 trauma alerts, resulting in multiple injuries, one person critically hurt, and others hospitalized. Sheriff Grady Judd described it as "a terrible, tragic morning."
