The Aporia
Anti-migrant activist Daniel Thomas, also known as Danny Tommo, appeared via videolink wearing a grey T-shirt and rosary beads at Margate Magistrates' Court in Kent on Friday. The 37-year-old is charged with entering a restricted zone at Western Jet Foil in Dover on March 31, where he pleaded guilty to the charge during an earlier court appearance on August 27. He also faces additional charges of using threatening words or behavior, obstructing lawful activity, and racially aggravated harassment between April 1 and April 6. District Judge William Nelson scheduled a further case management hearing for Thomas at Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 4, while earlier this week he was denied bail in connection with an alleged dinghy slashing incident in the English Channel.
