The Gaslighting of Hannah Pettey

Hannah Pettey, a young mother from Alabama, nearly died from lead poisoning in January 2022. She had been suffering from severe pain for six months and was bedridden, unable to care for her two young children, Lincoln (3) and Gracie (2). Hannah trusted her husband Brian Mann, a chiropractor, who claimed he couldn't diagnose the cause of her illness. However, investigators initially suspected both Brian and Hannah's mother Nicole Pettey of being involved in the poisoning. It was later revealed that Hannah had previously accused Brian of attempting to kill her in a car crash, which she believes was an attempt on her life.
