The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced that fuel prices will increase in September, with new rates taking effect on September 1, 2026. The price of Super 98 petrol will rise to Dh3.80 per litre, up from Dh3.60 per litre in August. Other fuels will also see increases: Special 95 petrol will be priced at Dh3.69 per litre, while E-Plus 91 petrol will cost Dh3.61 per litre, up from Dh3.41 last month. Diesel prices will also increase to Dh4.30 per litre. This is the latest in a series of price hikes, following a decline in July and increases in August and previous months. The new rates reflect adjustments linked to global energy market trends, which the UAE Fuel Price Committee reviews at the end of each month.
