On August 20, Hayden Panettiere was honored at a celebration of life in Malibu, California, one month after her tragic passing. The event, which took place at the Malibu Pacific Church and was organized by Panettiere's family, including her father Skip Panettiere, attracted approximately 150 guests, comprising friends, former colleagues, and family members. Among those present were celebrities like Connie Britton, Evan Ross, Ruby Rose, and Beverly D'Angelo. Inside the church, a photograph of Panettiere smiling on a boat was displayed alongside words honoring her life and legacy. The memorial featured speeches by Britton and Charles Esten, as well as the release of doves outside to symbolize peace and hope. Notably absent were ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach, who had expressed distress over their exclusion from the event.
