The Aporia
On Wednesday, a 67-year-old woman named Lorretta M. Moody, who relied on oxygen and had mobility issues, was found dead in a suitcase at Wichita Fire Station 22 in Kansas. She had been reported missing just hours earlier by her family around 1:30 AM. Police are treating her death as a homicide and have begun interviewing the two individuals who delivered the suitcase to the fire station without revealing their identities or motive. Moody’s body was taken to the local medical examiner's office for further investigation, but police have not yet made any arrests nor identified a threat to public safety. The Wichita Police Department is working on establishing a timeline of events and identifying additional witnesses involved in the case.
