The Aporia
Freshman wide receiver Trent Mosley, a standout player for Southern California's football team, will miss the Trojans' upcoming Big Ten opener against Rutgers due to an undisclosed injury. Mosley, who was recruited from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in California, had been performing exceptionally well this season with 13 receptions for 255 yards and four touchdowns across his first three games. His absence is part of the expanded player availability reports now required by the Big Ten conference to keep fans informed about potential injuries that could affect gameplay. Additionally, USC will also be without several other players including center Kilian O'Connor, who is out for the season. The Trojans, ranked 12th nationally and currently unbeaten with a 3-0 record, face Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey on Saturday.
