A Romanian crime gang raided the $13.4 million UK home of the creator of beloved children’s TV show “Peppa Pig,” stealing loot worth $87,500 – more than a decade after carrying out one of the world’s largest art heists.

Radu Dogaru, 41, and Adrian Alempi, 34, broke into English animator Mark Baker’s leafy south-west England home via a first-floor window on Valentine’s Day while he and his wife went out for just 90 minutes, it was revealed during their sentencing on Tuesday.
“The value of the stolen items was [$87,500] and included jewellery, a Rolex watch, Chanel and other designer handbags and suitcases,” prosecutor Joanne Cecil told the hearing, according tothe Sun.
