Anil Menon, one of three NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS), voted in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections from space on November 3, 2026. Menon demonstrated his voting process by posting a video where he showed how he completed an electronic ballot on his station computer and submitted it to election officials in Harris County, Texas. The other two American crew members—Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney—were also able to vote electronically from the ISS, underscoring the capability of U.S. astronauts to participate in democratic processes regardless of their location.
