A Learjet 60 private jet crashed near Cresthaven, Florida, on Sunday, November 1, killing all nine people on board. The plane had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was heading for North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas when it suddenly nosedived at speeds exceeding its design limits. Videos circulating on social media showed a massive fireball upon impact near residential areas. Air traffic control recordings revealed the pilot's last words: "We’re descending 8,000 - mayday, mayday." The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
