A Chinese start-up named Beijing Airlink Aircraft, founded in March 2026, claims to be developing the country's first home-grown new-energy business jet at the Nanchang Aviation Industry Expo on November 1st. The company showcased scale models of two variants of its Belyn 100 series: one with a parallel hybrid system and another with a series hybrid system, both aimed at reducing aviation emissions in line with China's environmental goals. Beijing Airlink Aircraft was established by experts from Tsinghua University’s school of aerospace engineering and China's aviation industry.
