On November 1, Paul Rosser-Davies, 48, from Greenwich, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life after a shooting incident in Woolwich on October 22. The victim, a 32-year-old man who had reportedly intervened during a road rage dispute, sustained gunshot wounds while in his parked car and is currently fighting for his life at an east London hospital. Rosser-Davies was arrested following the incident and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on November 2. Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley from the Met's Specialist Crime Command stated that despite the arrest, the investigation remains ongoing as it involves "this senseless act of violence."
