Story summary

Three individuals were arrested after a stolen Haval H6 was driven dangerously across multiple Brisbane suburbs on Friday. Police responded to reports of an armed robbery attempt in Kuraby around 3:15 pm, where a man and a woman allegedly threatened a resident with a knife before trying to steal her car. The same suspects were involved in another attempted robbery earlier that day in Sunnybank Hills.

The stolen vehicle was initially taken from a car wash in Goodna on Wednesday. It was later spotted in Waterford around 5 pm, prompting police intervention including the use of a helicopter to track its movements. The car drove recklessly through areas such as Forest Lake and Indooroopilly, nearly hitting a cyclist at a service station.

Police deployed a tyre deflation device near Milton at approximately 6:13 pm, causing the vehicle to stop on Gailey Road in St Lucia seven minutes later. Two women aged 26 from Morningside and 22 from Kingston, along with a man, were apprehended by authorities.

Why this leaning score
This article does not take a side on a contested political question, so it has no leaning score. That is an answer rather than a gap: a match report or a rescue can be warmly or critically written without being left or right, and scoring it anyway is how approval of a subject gets recorded as a political position.
